Some common commercial bird control species include: 

Pigeons come in many varieties, are present in both urban and rural regions, and their lifespan ranges from three to 15 years depending on the habitat. Starlings are prevalent in rural and urban areas, having developed immunity to many disturbances. Their lifespan is typically two to three years. Starlings tend to live in colonies, causing noise disruptions, and their droppings can spread diseases and create hazardous conditions.

Our bird netting is made of three-quarter-inch black polyethylene that we install flush to the underside of structures, pull taut, and secure with fasteners. We can install zippers in areas you specify to allow easy access to service locations and other areas. 

Bird netting is commonly used when treating for pigeons, swallows, and sparrows. 

Bird Wire 

USX Pest technicians can install bird wire with spring systems on suspended horizontal pipes located below bird netting. This solution deters birds from roosting without inhibiting operations.

Bird Spikes 

USX Pest’s bird spikes can help control bird populations and deter them from nesting on your property without harming them. Our technicians cut and install spikes on horizontal surfaces, providing an effective solution in certain circumstances.

Bird Slides 

Many commercial properties and structures feature small ledges that are like a “welcome” sign to birds looking for a spot to roost. Our customized slides are customized and made from high-performance materials to keep birds away from these areas.  

This species and property-specific option may only be appropriate in specific circumstances. Bird slides are also helpful for deterring pigeons and sparrows. 

Ultrasonic and Visual Bird Deterrents 

At USX Pest, we also have ultrasonic and visual deterrents to help break up nests and prevent birds from nesting in the first place. Our ultrasonic approach uses a system comprised of four speakers that covers 6,500 square feet.
